Another installment of What I Wore (Wednesday)…on Thursday. I had a day trip for work yesterday and didn’t have time to snap any pics, so instead I’m posting what I’m wearing today. Sans makeup because I keep waking up with puffy, watery eyes…oh allergy season…

Got them a year or so ago after losing my $300 Dolce & Gabbana frames)
I really love this top. My mom bought it for me weeks ago and it’s really starting to get snug, so I’m trying to fit it into my wardrobe as much as possible until it can be worn no more! I just love the lace, and the pink is fantastic too!
These pants…let me tell you about these pants…They’re my go-to pants, since I can’t wear jeans to work. I have two pairs of actual maternity pants, this is one of them. I wish I would have bought about ten pairs of them, because they are THAT comfortable and THAT functional!
And don’t even get me started on elastic belts. My collection keeps growing. Elastic is my new best friend, and the best friend I’ve likely ever had.
At 27 weeks, I’m definitely popping out much more. Baby girl is moving around a lot, and is hanging out much higher than usual these days, but still always favors the right side. I’ve been feeling good lately, aside from karate kicks to the bladder in the most awkward and public situations where I physically and visibly have a full-body spasm in an attempt to regain the Hulk-like hold I still maintain on my bladder. Diapers could be in my near future, though.
But…I did get a call today from my OB office saying I failed my glucose test. Mama does NOT like to fail. And get this…normal level is 130 or below…I got a 137. And the nurse who called is predicting I’ll likely pass the 3 hour, but I still get to be stabbed with needles 4 times tomorrow, after drinking sugary sludge, all while trying to function on an empty stomach. I know, I know, better safe than sorry, and a healthy baby is what matters most, it’s just…frustrating. I’ll be candy-crushing and stitching birdies for the bean’s mobile like a mad woman for 3 hours!
We’ve also officially, no turning back, decided on her FULL name. Her first name was decided back in January or February, when I was convinced there was a boy in there. But it stuck, and it’s so hers…but the middle name has been somewhat of a battle for us. I had a top pick (that I STILL adore), but James hates it…I’ve searched, and searched…thought I had it settled with an Irish name…until a random mention of a name (by me) in the car the other day with James and the words that came out of his mouth sealed the deal. It’s amazing how much more you love a name when you see her daddy with a beaming smile and a sweet sentiment regarding said name. It was decided. And it’s just perfect. The middle name was unexpected and not even on the radar, but it’s so meant to be. I can’t wait to share…in 3 short months…
