Dearest little bean,
Mama has not been good with writing you letters the last couple of weeks. And we’re back to rain again…it’s been so rainy lately! But everything is growing nice and green!
We’re in the last couple of weeks of Brennan’s little league, and it gets busy and we get home late…and other days I’m just tired…
I started an important project this weekend…FINALLY! Your crib mobile! Complete with little birdies, of course. I’m making all the little birdies by hand and stitching them with sparkly thread because I know you’ll love sparkles, just like your mama.
It’s going to be so lovely…and your dad is helping out by making the halo they will hang from out of branches. Only the best for our tiny girl.
I still need to order fabric for your crib skirt and changing pad cover, but I’m trying to do one project at a time! I’m already overwhelmed by so much lately.
Mama had a big test last week too, and you enjoyed it. Apparently drinking large amounts of glucose puts your tiny dancer feet to work! About 5-10 minutes after I drank it, you were a busy one in there! It wasn’t really good for either of us, but a necessary test. I haven’t heard back from the doctor, so I’m
guessing hoping that means everything is peachy!
Also, your mother is crazy, but you’ll come to learn this. I bought you a different dresser. Yes, a different one. After the story about the other one and how perfect it was…but I originally wanted a more retro, mid-century modern style of dresser, but couldn’t find one we could afford…well I found one! And it’s amazing! I told your dad that he needs to keep an eye on me and NO MORE dressers! Can’t wait to get your room all set up for you! I cleaned out the closet the other day to make room for all your cute clothes that are piling up! Including a special package from a very old friend of mine who I haven’t talked to in ages. I still smile seeing how many people are excited to meet you. Makes mama feel loved.
I’m also still smiling about the fact that you have eyelashes now, it’s just too cute to imagine!
