Dearest little bean,
We had a busy weekend. Your aunt Trista and cousins came down Friday night for the weekend. Saturday morning we woke up and your brother and cousins colored Easter eggs and then your dad had to get your brother off to the airport. He went to visit his mom in Washington for spring break.
On Saturday afternoon, your uncle Jesse and aunt Julie got to our house and we all sat around for a few hours chatting and you were apparently into the conversation, because I felt your little movements multiple times! We headed to dinner, and in normal fashion, I couldn’t finish my meal and was dissatisfied with the taste of everything. I swear my taste buds are forever screwed up!
Sunday we celebrated Easter with an Easter egg hunt for the littles and a lunch made by all of us. I made homemade mac and cheese. It was originally supposed to be a potato of some sort, but since I still can’t stand them, I went for pasta. It was yummy. And we got a special Easter gift for you from your aunt and uncle Simon…some Detroit Tigers threads!! Woohoo!! You’re a sports fan already! And it was crazy to think that next Easter, you’ll be here with us!
Then we watched Michigan win their game and make it into the final four! Trista took the kids to a movie, and I got a little rest for you and I with a short nap.
It was a good weekend, despite some bad news, but I have to take things one day at a time to save my sanity.
Three weeks until we peek at your lady/boy parts and find out which you are! Can’t wait.
love,
mama
